Questions & answers

One place to see what's going on near you. The internet is huge and local events are scattered across dozens of sites, so Around Town gathers them into a quick, simple guide, with a focus on good news and neighbors helping each other. About Around Town

Around Town is one of several free projects of the Breger Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. It is free, has no ads, and nobody pays to be listed.

Ron Breger spent decades leading teams of dozens building enterprise web applications around the world. Today, with AI and that experience, one person can build in days what used to take months and a big budget. Around Town is part of how he shares that: helping neighbors, and teaching people to work with AI.

Most come in automatically, every day, from public calendars. Anyone can also post a single event for free; we review it before it goes live.

No. Listings are always free.

Yes, and we'd love that. Share your calendar link once (Google Calendar, iCal or a web page) and your events appear automatically from then on, credited to you with a link back.

Usually. Send us your events page and we'll find a way to set it up for your group.

Tell us which event and what's wrong. We check every report, and you can ask us to remove your event at any time.

We are growing town by town. Tell us your city and, if you know them, the local calendars worth following. Requests help us decide where to go next.

That's what the Breger Foundation is all about. Volunteers help from anywhere, and anyone curious about building with AI is welcome to reach out.
